Trading With The Flow!!!

Hello all.

i don't know if it is right or not to start a journal here. but i have started this thread to keep my self disciplined
and learn from seniors. i am thankful to saint for showing us many great trading methods. here i will try ambush
trades and will also enter my reasons for trades at eod. will post trades in realtime as i take them.

i am not experienced in this kind of trading and i dont want to do paper trading so have allotted a very small amount to ambush trades.
Rs. 10000 only. if i lose this amount then i will stop trading. my risk per trade would be Rs. 100, so quantity will depend on stoploss.

i am using indiabulls so i have to square off intraday trades before 3 pm long trades can be squared of before 3.30 if i take in cash. but will square off everything before day ends.

entry, as saint says ambush, will use triangles, trendlines, pivots, reversal candle signals etc.
no adds for now. exit at pivots or near support,resistence or at reversal signals from candles. will also book partial profit if there is a good move.

hope to have a nice journey, and hope Saint and other seniors will guide me.

Ambush requires our mind to be open all the time.

DLF - Tried to break out and failed and that tells you something that if it cant go up then may be it can go down. Ingrain this pattern in your brain.

First i thought about editing the first post of the thread. then decided to make this new post instead. only wanted to say that the
trades i am taking for last three days are not based on ambush methods. yes, the exit strategy could be the same, but the entry is different.
here i am trying to trade the pullbacks instead of pivots. aim is to keep stop as small as possible and profits bigger than the stops. still working on my entries.

thank you for your suggestion. my aim was to keep myself disciplined thats why was keeping diary of daily account here.
because when you know that someone is watching you, you behave in disciplined manner. no other intention. but will keep your
suggestion in mind from next time onwards. will not put anything related to account……. opening or closing balance etc. only daily p/l with trades. and will put week's result every friday….. once again for the sake of discipline only……

oh yes sir, thats why we are all here. but i will be pleased and profitable even if four out of ten trades work in my favour

yes, i followed my rules and i have no regret for money i have lost coz one or two good trades will make up the loss.
my problem is in entry. have not been able to find it properly. when i started trading the system on monday 25th may.
i was taking my entries very carefully and i did that for entire week. yes, even that week i had more losing trades than winners but still
i managed to end up the week with nice gains(15%+).

the weekend was nice and i was thinking all the time that what i did was absolutely perfect. nothing wrong with that either because it
was perfect(i think). however this thinking filled me with overconfidence and i started taking trades on every move. number of trades increased and so did numbers of losing trades.

now its time to go back to 25th may and compare my current weeks trades with last weeks trades. hope to come out with something
positive and could save week from ending into red.

This is an attempt to learn the ambush trades. infact trying to follow banknifty with this stock as my account is small. thought of posting in BNF ambush thread but then thought it is saint's journal so will post here. will go to saint's thread whenver there is question.

out half…. broke previous high but not trading above it convincingly. stop for remaining same.

out remaining as this was resistence area.

Took long when price broke opening bar high and immediately added above previous day’s pivot however it was not successful breakout and had to wait for long before it went up. Not sure if there was a point where I should have got out of the trade but kept moving stop from pivot to pivot and that saved me today.
