After the breakout from a huge triangle forming over last couple days we formed a pivot right on the upper TL. Stops were not moved there but kept at wrb low.

The use of filter is basically an assurance that we get into a trade on a valid breakout and to keep away from whipsaws. It depends on the price and volatility of the scrip. Now BankNF is about 7225 and HDIL is about 265, so keeping the same filter of 5 does not make sense. A filter which is too small means whipsaws and a filter that is too big means you are not taking the profits. Filter of 5 is too big for HDIL. Do take a look at charts and arrive at a filter which is reasonable.

Excellent stuff,Neeraj……..it's a Double Whammy.A failed breakdown and then a gap up over the pivots leads to a lot of hurt agonising bears,and they do what all people in pain do…….relieve it by buying and easing their pain,leading to a nice sweet move up.
