today miniflow is flowing over my head 1:30 bar not a PL n 2bar rule not applicable than hw??

HV, 2.00 bar ( 30 min ) is doji with topping tail ( importatnt because it is after a good upmove) supported by 15 min PL (13.45), all these 15 min bar are also doji /topping tail, (and all this occurring near tough resistance point) .That's why short as per TFA.

Have shorted below 13:00 bar low-sf

Hemant…. TFA was not applicable here for short ? Am I wrong in shorting at that level as per rules? Please explain you logic of going short below 1.00 bar low and not 1.30 or 2.00 bar low.

Hemant.. shorted at 1..30 bar low looking at quality of 15 PL ( not so evident but thought important because of tail bars and all this near resistance). But to be little more confident , I kept my SAR at 1.30 bar low.

any body else who s limit orders at 4700 didnt t triggered still showing pending-

thanks Manoj 4 the explanation,today some problem prevented my orders to get executed at 4700,got a little bit of todays miniflow juice,but no regrets as i think with urs n seniors help TFA is nw clear to me,but require future inputs from u n seniors

Kapil add over 6th bar high is not clear also we reversed toshorts below 8th bar low as PL on 15min not the 7th then added below 6th bar low-af as again 15min Pl n visual wrb at that time
plz correct the fault in my trades which i mentioned above n explain add to long over 6th bar for my benifit

HVT, let me try ..

the 5th & 6th bar makes a horizontal pivot means a area of resistance..& when price moves past the area of resistance, we added to our position .& bring SAR at low of this brakeout bar ..

about the reversal below 8th bar ..the TFA looks good but price was in very narrow range , so me not take it at that point & keep it at 1.00 low …

hope it reduces (or increases) the confusion …

Thanks Vineet for a clear cut answer.

HVT, the horizontal pivot that Vineet is talking about is clearer in 15 min charts. Now coming to reversal to short below the 15 min charts, somehow that pivot was not evident in my charts yesterday, so there was no question of considering it. But if you took it below that, great going.

as some days back seniors guided us that its a miniflow not complete flow so one can book profits as per his greed-1st booked near to tl support pt at 4495 then at 4512 ambush style-this is persnal approach not as per the method

Just a suggestion…. please go through the miniflow rules thoroughly and try to understand them from the posts and charts posted here and also in TJ. If you are novice to this method, you may not understand them fully but the study will definitely help you to understand the explanations given by seniors to your query.

How do I get realtime intraday data for NF-1M. I use FCharts and source intraday data for stocks and indices through QuoteTracker. But I dont find any option for getting Futures data.

nifty rider 4bar rule(sar 2bar back) is aplicable if we get 4 bars LL n LH n in todays case 4th bar is not LL n LH

Slah04, you can get it from paid subscriptions of investbulls or icharts or from your broker ( viz : Sharekhan / Indiabulls / religare etc.)

You can ask these questions in TJ under "Basic Setup….." thread under intraday trading.

Only exception is when you get a terrific move with four monster WRBs one after another on 15 … in such an exceptional case maybe we can consider 4 bar rule on 15.

seniors intodays trade will consider 2pm pl or the 3pm bar low 4 reversal?
inbetween 10-3 we give priority to pivot instead of bar,same rule applicable after 3pm also or not?

hvtrader, why are you talking about 3pm bar reversal etc, when today we were already short before that.

sirji as per my charts 2pm PL is of 4453.83 n 3pm bar low is 4444.74 that means short saved by whisker, n till nw after the inputs from Saint on 31st july my perception is to go short or long as per 3pm bar only as previously we use to trade(new position) till 3pm thats why
plz suggest the right approach

Before reversing to Long over 5th Bar High +sf, was the SAR at 2nd Bar High (2 bar behind)? And why did we reverse .. was it because the 4th bar (looks like a WRB at the end of a downtrend) was followed by a bullish bar > 50% of the range of 4th bar? Was it required to wait for the 6th bar to form before reversing

Yes slah04, SAR was 2nd bar high, but moved to 5th bar high, because we got reversal bar on 60 min charts (bottoming tail), strong bullish bar following the bearish bar on 30 min charts and a pivot on 15 min charts. No, there was no requirement of waiting for the 6th bar to form.

hvt, from the figures that you have written, for many the short would have triggered in that bar only. But even if not because of larger filter, then since we are talking about a pivot, it would have been triggered just after 3pm. Please do understand that our aim here is to trade and make money. It is not about break of 3pm bar low or high, its about break of low or high of 3pm bar as per TFA with 5 min charts. Please do understand that the purpose is to give us an early entry, in case we do not have anything else to rely upon. One we already have the pivot on 30 min chart giving us an early entry, why would I wait for the 3pm bar low break.

I hope this makes things clear.

Thanks a lot TFL for help. I haven't got any verifying email yet but still I can log in .But when try to accsess the threads , I get above message.

I tried logging in and out but that didn't work. Is it like that for verifying mail, it doesn't accept rediffmail ID or it takes/ may take long time ( almost 1-2 days) to get verifying mail on my mail ID.

Thanks a lot Kapil… but it is not in junk mail also. I think will wait for a day and if still not working then will register myself with different ID giving different mail ID ( other than rediff)

The thing I saind will only work after you verfied your accoutn ny the email you received.

For mininifty just keep an extra cushion of 1-2 points as compared to NF.
